The Value Dog Training Methodology

Your dog has unique needs. I understand there is no one program that will fits all situations in dog training. Whether your dog is a puppy or fully grown, we work with you to learn your goals for training. All Customized Dog Training can occur in the convenience of your home in the Sacramento and Surrounding Areas.

I’m different

I recognize that all dogs are different and all dog owners desire different things from a well trained dog. I understand that a well trained/behaved dog can go with you more places, whether an outing to the dog park or visiting your friends and family. The training doesn’t stop when our sessions are complete. You will leave each dog training session with resources, advice, and simple dog training techniques that will further your relationship with your dog and continue the training.

My Story

During a career change, I met and began training with Sacramento's Master Dog Trainer, Eleanor "The Dog Lady". I started working with some of Eleanor's dogs and she remarked on my natural ability as a trainer.

Soon after she became my mentor, I started to build my training skills. Fast forward almost 10 years, and I’ve built Value Dog Training into one of Sacramento’s premier dog training services. My passion is to understand both the individual dogs and their owners, to identify the best personalized training options.
