Dog shampoo’s

More and more dog owners are bathing their dogs at home, however you have some big decisions to make. There are nearly as many brands of dog shampoo as there are of human shampoo's. Choosing a shampoo for your dog can get quite confusing and using the wrong shampoo can cause your dog to be itchy, oily, or may even cause his fur to fall out!

Here are the different types of dog shampoos available so you can select the best one for your dog.

Puppy Shampoo is used for very young dogs. You should use a puppy shampoo on a young pup rather than a normal shampoo. Puppy shampoos are extremely mild and will be kind to your dog’s skin.

General Purpose Shampoo
General Purpose shampoo can be used for most dogs; you can get general purpose shampoos with different scents and ingredients.

Deodorizers Shampoo
Deodorizer Shampoos contain some type of deodorizing element. Deodorizer shampoos is the intent is to leave you with a fresh smelling dog.

Black shampoo is used for dogs with black coats, but it also works well on white coats. It really brings out the color and makes your dog’s fur look shiny and healthy.
